Job summary

Randstad New Zealand is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize complex IT environments in Northshore, Auckland. You will build, maintain, and secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure supporting critical applications, reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include deploying Azure clouds, administering AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, 365, and Intune, plus implementing security and automation with PowerShell. 5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong Microsoft stack expertise including AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, 365, and Intune.
• Proficient in Windows Server administration, networking, firewalls, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps practices and IaC is advantageous.
• Ability to support end-users and IT teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize Azure cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
• Administer AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, 365, and Intune.
• Provide technical support and resolve performance issues.
• Implement security practices, patching, and compliance.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and other tools.
