Job summary

Randstad Group is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize Azure-based and on-premises IT environments in Northshore, Auckland. You will design, deploy, and secure complex infrastructure that underpins critical applications and ensure high availability and compliance across Microsoft stacks.

You will work closely with the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, implement automation with PowerShell, manage AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365, and contribute to DR,

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing Azure and enterprise IT environments.
• Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure cloud environments, virtualized servers, and backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide technical support to end-users and IT teams for infrastructure-related issues.
• Implement security best practices, manage access controls, and patch OS and container images.
• Automate routine infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and other automation tools.
