Job summary

Equinox IT in Auckland is seeking a Cloud Engineer to deliver and manage cloud-based infrastructure for clients across NZ. You will provide technical advice, consult with customers, and drive improvements while delivering hands-on delivery work.

The role emphasizes Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, with exposure to AWS/GCP advantageous. You should have strong communication, a growth mindset, and a passion for security, networking, and modern OS approaches in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Must have growth mindset and willingness to obtain Microsoft certifications.
• Strong empathy to understand client needs and deliver value.
• Broad hands-on infrastructure experience across security, networking, operations and OS in cloud contexts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, mentor and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to key managed services clients.
• Consult with clients across multiple domains and situations.
• Strive for continuous improvement in engagement, support and management of clients.
• Deliver solutions through hands-on delivery work with internal and customer teams.
• Form and grow long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients.
