Absolute IT is seeking a proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a modern enterprise technology environment in Auckland. You will work across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Windows Server to maintain performance, security, and reliability.

Reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, you will implement automation, security, and platform improvements while collaborating with security, operations and development teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years' experience supporting Azure cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure administration.
• Proven expertise across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Intune.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments.

We are seeking a proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help manage and support a modern enterprise technology environment.

Reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You'll work across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Windows Server environments while supporting automation, security, and ongoing platform improvements.

About You

Essential Experience

• 3+ years' experience supporting Azure cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure administration
• Proven expertise across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Intune
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security and compliance best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Highly Desirable

• Microsoft Azure certifications
• AWS experience
• Infrastructure as Code experience, including Terraform
• DevOps practices and CI/CD exposure
• Git and GitHub experience
• Experience with AI agents or agentic workflows
