Job summary

Inchcape Wellington is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to bridge customers with workshop operations. You will manage bookings, quotes, and payments while guiding customers through the service journey with clear, friendly communication.

The role emphasizes relationship building, problem solving and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a busy automotive environment. Fixed-term contract until March 2027, full-time on-site in Wellington.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end service experience within the service department.
• Coordinate vehicle service bookings and repair orders.
• Prepare accurate service quotations and explain work to customers.
• Liaise with technicians and workshop controllers on repair progress.
• Keep customers updated throughout servicing and repair process.
• Upsell additional service and repair work where appropriate.
• Process customer payments and finalise repair orders.
• Coordinate loan vehicles and drop-offs/collections.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver a Customer First experience.
• Ensure warranty/recall/dealership procedures are followed.
• Support workshop productivity and service performance initiatives.
