Job summary

Mainstream in Auckland is seeking a Night Shift Manifest/Data Entry Operator to ensure accurate consignments, up-to-date manifests, and smooth operations for the transport team. You will enter data, verify details, and support dispatch while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have administration or data entry experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work under deadlines in a busy night-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Previous administration, data entry or customer service experience.
• Strong computer and keyboard skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good geographical knowledge of Auckland and New Zealand.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to build good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Enter and check consignment information including account numbers, destinations, weights, cube and truck details.
• Check manifests carefully and correct errors before freight moves.
• Investigate anomalies such as missing consignment notes, incorrect truck numbers, areas or account details.
• Support scanning of office copies and PODs.
• Assist with dispatch, general administration and customer service when required.
• Work closely with the operational team to keep freight moving accurately and on time.
• Follow Mainstream’s Health & Safety, quality and environmental requirements.

At Mainstream, accurate information keeps freight moving. As part of our Auckland Transport team, you’ll help ensure every consignment is recorded correctly, every manifest is ready, and our night-shift operation runs smoothly.

We’re looking for a motivated Manifest / Data Entry Operator to join our Auckland Transport team on the night shift, reporting to the Evening Metro Manager. You’ll enter and check consignment information, maintain accurate manifests, and make sure the operational team has the information needed to move freight through the network accurately and on time.

Accurate manifesting helps ensure freight is correctly allocated, charged and dispatched. By identifying errors before freight moves, you’ll help prevent delays and keep the wider network running smoothly.
