Job summary

Lineage New Zealand is seeking an experienced General Manager - Operations for Auckland to lead our flagship Wiri facility and oversee the Kerepehi site. You will shape safety culture, drive performance, and develop leaders across a large frontline workforce.

This is a strategic, commercially focused role requiring strong P&L acumen, customer relationships, and the ability to implement continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex operational environments.
• Strong safety leadership mindset and culture.
• Experience managing medium-to-large workforces through frontline managers.
• Demonstrated ability to improve engagement, capability and performance.
• Commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing customers and key stakeholder relationships.
• Track record of delivering operational improvement through people.

Responsibilities

• Lead Auckland operation including flagship Wiri facility and oversight of Kerepehi site.
• Champion safety-first culture and ensure safety is visible across the operation.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, service performance and governance standards.
• Develop leaders at all levels and coach the leadership team.
• Own site financial performance including budgeting, cost management and forecasting.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders; pursue growth opportunities.
