About the Role

As General Manager - Auckland, you will have overall leadership responsibility for the site, with a strong focus on safety, people leadership, operational performance, customer relationships and financial results. Reporting to the Regional Director Operations - New Zealand, you will lead a team of approximately 45+ employees, creating a high-performing culture where people are supported to succeed and operational standards are consistently achieved.

Based at our Wiri facility. You will be a visible and hands-on leader who can balance the demands of day-to-day operations with longer-term commercial and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the operation meets all Lineage policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with regional and functional leaders to deliver broader Lineage business objectives.

About You

You will be an experienced operational leader who combines strong people leadership with commercial acumen and a genuine commitment to safety.

You will ideally bring

• Proven experience leading a complex operational environment and a sizeable team.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing, food or another operationally focused industry.
• A strong understanding of health and safety and a commitment to creating a safe workplace.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop people and build high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial and financial capability, with experience managing budgets, costs and operational performance.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to identify and implement opportunities for better performance.
• The ability to operate effectively at both a strategic and hands-on level.
