Alpine Pacific Holiday Park in Kaikōura is seeking a versatile team member to support guest services and daily park operations. You will learn all aspects of running a holiday park and receive training from the management team.
No previous management experience is necessary, with genuine opportunities to progress into a management role. The role involves front desk duties, guest enquiries, bookings management, maintenance support and ensuring presentations across rooms, cabins and facilities
This is a varied and hands-on position. You will work closely with the management team and gradually learn different aspects of running a holiday park. You don't need previous management experience. We are happy to train the right person.
Key responsibilities
Checking guests in and out
Answering guest enquiries by phone, email and in person
Helping guests and making sure they have a great stay
Assisting with bookings through Booking.com, Expedia and other platforms
Helping with cleaning, maintenance and general presentation of the property
Checking that rooms, cabins, campsites and facilities are well presented
Assisting with swimming pool and hot pool operations
Helping coordinate daily tasks with other team members
Assisting with basic administration and office work
Learning about occupancy, pricing and online booking management
About you
Reliable and responsible
Friendly and confident when dealing with guests
Willing to learn
Organised and able to manage different tasks
Practical and willing to get involved
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Able to stay calm and positive during busy periods
Interested in developing a long-term career in hospitality and tourism
Good English communication skills are required

Alpine Pacific Holiday Park is a well-established holiday park located in beautiful Kaikōura. We provide motel rooms, cabins and powered campsites for guests from New Zealand and around the world. We are a busy business, particularly during the summer season.
