Job summary

Alpine Pacific Holiday Park in Kaikōura is seeking a versatile team member to support guest services and daily park operations. You will learn all aspects of running a holiday park and receive training from the management team.

No previous management experience is necessary, with genuine opportunities to progress into a management role. The role involves front desk duties, guest enquiries, bookings management, maintenance support and ensuring presentations across rooms, cabins and facilities

Qualifications

• Reliable and responsible.
• Friendly and confident when dealing with guests.
• Willing to learn.
• Organised and able to manage different tasks.
• Practical and willing to get involved.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out.
• Answering guest enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Helping guests and making sure they have a great stay.
• Assisting with bookings through Booking.com, Expedia and other platforms.
• Helping with cleaning, maintenance and general presentation of the property.
• Checking that rooms, cabins, campsites and facilities are well presented.
• Assisting with swimming pool and hot pool operations.
• Helping coordinate daily tasks with other team members.
• Assisting with basic administration and office work.
• Learning about occupancy, pricing and online booking management.
