Job summary

KiwiQuest in Kaikōura, New Zealand, is seeking a hands-on hospitality leader to manage daily operations across a luxury lodge’s guest-facing departments. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure safe, seamless, personalised service for high-end guests.

You will oversee restaurant, bar, lounge and reception, coordinate tasks, manage stock, and uphold health and safety standards while maintaining presentation and records. Full-time, minimum 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
• At least three years of hospitality experience.
• Fine-dining or luxury-hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-coaching skills.
• Knowledge of Kaikōura and surrounding districts.
• Health and safety awareness.
