We're on the lookout for an experienced, organised and proactive Holiday Home Manager to join our growing Queenstown business.
This isn't a case of stepping into an established portfolio. You'll be working alongside the General Manager to build a brand new portfolio, onboarding new properties and owners and then managing them day to day. You'll be the key point of contact for your owners, making sure their homes are set up properly, presented to a high standard and running smoothly year-round. If you're someone who loves a challenge, takes pride in organisation and wants to make a portfolio your own, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
Property Management: Manage the day-to-day operations and ensure all holiday homes are maintained to a high standard, including organising regular maintenance, inspections, and managing cleaning schedules.
Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving in-stay issues, and maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to guest interactions.
Booking Management: Work closely with the team to monitor reservations and rate management to maximise occupancy and drive bookings.
Owner Liaison: Communicate regularly with property owners, keeping them informed about bookings, maintenance, and any relevant updates.
What we're looking for
Proven property management experience is essential. Experience with holiday homes or short-term rentals is a big plus.
Great communicator. Friendly, clear, and not flustered when plans change
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Familiarity with property management software and digital tools
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Must have the ability to work full-time in NZ, with a valid NZ driver's license
What we offer
In addition to a competitive salary (based on experience), you will enjoy:
Opportunities for career development and advancement
Loads of variety - no two days are the same
A super supportive team who love what they do
Big brand backing (we're part of the Bayleys crew) but with a start-up vibe
The position is available for an immediate start, but we're happy to wait for the right candidate.
