Job summary

Watercare is seeking an experienced Asset Protection Manager in Central Auckland to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and safeguard Watercare assets. The role reports to the Head of Operations Performance and drives risk assessment, governance and service outcomes across transmission and network teams.

You will liaise with developers, contractors and project teams, ensuring quality customer service, and maintain outputs within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract and customer relationship management with a strong customer focus.
• Ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team (office and field based).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional support to Watercare Transmission and Network teams.
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of engineers.
• Liaise with Developers, contractors and project teams to define and evaluate service outcomes.
• Control unit output to ensure Watercare outcomes are achieved within budget.
