Job summary

Tiaki Wai, based in the Petone office, seeks a senior leader to shape asset management planning for water facilities and the bulk network. You will develop and maintain management plans, integrate lifecycle planning with investment prioritisation, and ensure governance aligns with regulatory and resilience goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Process Engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience in water infrastructure planning.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle and risk-informed planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic asset planning for water facilities and bulk networks.
• Develop and maintain Facility and Bulk Network Management Plans and capital programmes.
• Set condition assessment frameworks and translate data into investments.
• Lead a high-performing technical team and coordinate cross-team projects.
