Reporting to the Head of Operations Performance, the Asset Protection Manager is responsible for providing regional support to the Watercare Transmission and Network teams. This role manages a team of passionate Engineers who assess and manage risks ensuring the protection of Watercare assets. In this role you will also: Liaise and coordinate with Developers, contractors and project teams Promote a culture of quality customer service in the organisation Control output of business unit to ensure Watercare outcomes are achieved within budget Initiate and develop partnerships with customers to define and evaluate service performance outcomes Engage and motivate the team, creating opportunities for recognising and celebrating high performance at the individual and team level
You'll be a confident, enthusiastic problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitude that loves a challenge and works well under pressure. You will also demonstrate: Experience is in contract and customer relationship management with a strong customer focus The ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team (office and field based) Excellent communication and reporting skills Experience in working cross-functionally and effectively collaborate across teams A relevant tertiary level qualification in Engineering, preferably in Structural or Civil disciplines Preferable but not necessary to have previous experience in the Water or Wastewater industry
