Kennards Hire in Auckland is seeking an Area Manager to lead Branch Managers across the region and specialist areas, driving safety, service, and commercial performance. You’ll coach high-performing teams, optimise costs, and deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll build great customer relationships, implement the Reaching Best program, and partner on regional business plans to grow revenue and ensure outstanding branch outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Proven ability to deliver safety, customer, financial and people outcomes.
• Experience leading multiple branches, sites or business units.
• Strong coaching, leadership and communication skills.

• Lead, coach and mentor Branch Managers to build safe, high-performing and engaged teams.
• Drive revenue growth and support branches to achieve their financial and operational targets.
• Analyse business performance to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Visit branches regularly, conduct safety observations, and ensure Quality Operations Management (QOM) standards are consistently achieved.
• Optimise people, fleet and operating costs to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement through the Reaching Best program.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to deliver strategic initiatives and regional business plans.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business.
