Kennards Hire in Auckland is seeking an Area Manager to lead Branch Managers across the region and specialist areas, driving safety, service, and commercial performance. You’ll coach high-performing teams, optimise costs, and deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll build great customer relationships, implement the Reaching Best program, and partner on regional business plans to grow revenue and ensure outstanding branch outcomes.

• Lead, coach and mentor Branch Managers to build safe, high-performing and engaged teams.

• Analyse business performance to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Visit branches regularly, conduct safety observations, and ensure Quality Operations Management (QOM) standards are consistently achieved.
• Optimise people, fleet and operating costs to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement through the Reaching Best program.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to deliver strategic initiatives and regional business plans.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead a group of Branch Managers and their teams across the Auckland region and specialist areas, creating an environment where people thrive, customers receive exceptional service, and branches consistently deliver outstanding results.
You'll be responsible for leading the operational, financial and people performance across your region. This is a role for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds high-performing teams, coaches others to succeed, and creates exceptional customer experiences while delivering strong commercial outcomes.
