Allegion is seeking an Architectural Sales Consultant based in Christchurch to develop strong relationships with architects, specifiers, developers, contractors and distributors. You will identify new project opportunities, provide product and technical advice, and help ensure our products are specified for the right projects.

You will build lasting client relationships, deliver presentations and training, and support sales growth through technical guidance and market insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in building and construction industry.
• Experience working with architects, developers and construction companies.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously with ownership of priorities.
• Strong track record in relationship building, new business development and sales growth.
• Technical aptitude and confidence working with mechanical and electronic products.
• Tertiary qualification in business or related field is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Business Development: identify new customers and project opportunities, build lasting relationships, contribute to sales growth.
• Project Specifications: develop door hardware schedules and specifications with key decision makers.
• Customer Education: deliver presentations and product training to help customers understand and specify solutions.
• Product & Technical Support: advise on product selection and applications, provide technical support and identify growth opportunities.
• Market & Territory Management: monitor industry activity, maintain CRM records, contribute to forecasts and sales reporting.
