Job summary

RW Design Ltd in Kaiapoi is seeking an experienced professional to join our collaborative team. Based in Kaiapoi, we work across residential, alterations, additions to bespoke homes and commercial projects.

You will concept, develop and translate designs into technical documentation, producing high-quality drawings for consent and construction, and coordinate with clients, consultants and councils to bring projects to life.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the NZ construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code, RMA, District Plans, and NZS3604.
• Eye for detail and commitment to documentation quality.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD.

Responsibilities

Based in Kaiapoi, just north of Christchurch, we work across a wide range of project types from residential, alterations & additions to bespoke architectural homes and commercial projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play a key role in bringing projects to life, with involvement from concept through to construction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing concept designs and translating them into technical documentation
• Producing accurate, high-quality drawings for building consent and construction
• Co-ordinating with clients, consultants, and councils

What You’ll Bring:

We’re after someone who is confident working independently, but thrives in a team environment:

• 5+ years’ experience in the NZ construction industry
• Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code, RMA, District Plans, and NZS3604

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD
