Job summary

Fusion5 in Wellington is seeking an AOC Operator to join the Agent Operations Centre and help customers operate AI agents with confidence. You'll investigate issues across AI agents, APIs, and cloud services, and drive incidents to resolution.

You’ll build scripts and tooling to improve efficiency, develop runbooks, and collaborate with engineering to enhance product reliability. A curious, proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly will thrive in this fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting software, cloud, or integrated business systems.
• Exposure to building, supporting, integrating, or debugging AI/LLM-based applications.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
• A proactive mindset and desire to continually improve systems and processes.
• Experience with Azure and cloud optimisation would be highly regarded.

You're a curious and proactive problem solver who enjoys investigating complex technical challenges and turning insights into practical solutions. With experience across software, cloud, or AI technologies, you're comfortable working with code, APIs, and automation, and can clearly communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences. Most importantly, you're excited by AI and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

You will bring:

• A mix of technical capability, curiosity, and operational judgement, including:
• Experience troubleshooting software, cloud, or integrated business systems
• Exposure to building, supporting, integrating, or debugging AI/LLM-based applications
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
• A proactive mindset and desire to continually improve systems and processes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, observability platforms, service management tools, or cloud optimisation will be highly regarded.
