Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking an AOC Operator in Christchurch, NZ to join the Agent Operations Centre. You will diagnose production issues across AI agents, APIs, integrations and cloud services, improve performance and reliability, and help shape live AI deployments.

You’ll work at the intersection of AI operations, engineering and customer outcomes, building runbooks, automations, and tooling, while communicating clearly with customers and internal teams and upholding security and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting software, cloud, or integrated business systems.
• Exposure to building, supporting, integrating, or debugging AI/LLM-based applications.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Proactive mindset with a drive to continually improve systems and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, observability platforms, service management tools, or cloud optimisation.

Fusion5 is looking for an AOC Operator to join our growing Agent Operations Centre (AOC) and help customers operate AI agents with confidence.

The Opportunity

As an AOC Operator, you'll sit at the intersection of AI operations, engineering, and customer outcomes, helping diagnose production issues, improve system performance, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of AI solutions in production environments.

You're a curious and proactive problem solver who enjoys investigating complex technical challenges and turning insights into practical solutions. With experience across software, cloud, or AI technologies, you're comfortable working with code, APIs, and automation, and can clearly communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences. Most importantly, you're excited by AI and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

You will bring:

• A mix of technical capability, curiosity, and operational judgement, including:
• Experience troubleshooting software, cloud, or integrated business systems
• Exposure to building, supporting, integrating, or debugging AI/LLM-based applications
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
• A proactive mindset and desire to continually improve systems and processes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, observability platforms, service management tools, or cloud optimisation will be highly regarded.
