Job summary

Palmerston North Airport Ltd. is seeking a Terminal Operations Officer to help manage daily terminal operations and public-facing facilities. The role requires good judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly during issues. A 7-day roster with various shifts supports airport operating hours.

Duties include assisting passengers, monitoring car parks and pick-up areas, and conducting contractor inductions while maintaining safety and security throughout the terminal.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally in incidents.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers and visitors with enquiries and provide high-standard customer service.
• Manage vehicle flows in car parks, taxi ranks, and pick-up/drop-off areas.
• Provide contractor inductions and monitor compliance with airport procedures.
• Assist in maintaining aerodrome operations and public safety.
