Qualifications

• Proven experience in airport ground handling, ramp operations, or aviation operations management.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft ground handling procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions and on the airport ramp.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily ground handling operations, including aircraft servicing, baggage, and ramp activities.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of ground operations staff.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, procedures, and standards for ground operations.
• Liaise with airline representatives, air traffic control, and other airport stakeholders.
• Manage resource allocation, including equipment, personnel, and scheduling.
• Monitor operational performance and implement measures to improve efficiency and punctuality.
• Respond to and resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of ground handling activities and operational data.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements with airline clients.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks with the ground handling team.
