Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to drive emerging tech and AI solutions across law firms, corporate legal teams and government bodies in New Zealand. You will present, workshop and demonstrate how AI and DMS capabilities deliver measurable business value, while partnering with sales to progress opportunities and tailor proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering or technical sales environment.
• Experience working with SaaS, software or technology-based solutions.
• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering software demonstrations and solution workshops.
• A sound understanding of AI technologies and their business applications.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to influence buying decisions.
• Legal technology or document management experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Product and Technical Presentations and Customer Workshops.
• Partner closely with sales teams to support the sales process.
• Develop deep expertise in LexisNexis' AI and Document Management System (DMS) solutions.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert on AI and DMS technologies.
• Work with account teams to engage prospective clients and demonstrate value of AI/DMS solutions.
• Support the development of proposals, tenders, RFP responses and sales collateral.
• Build relationships with executive and technical stakeholders across the customer journey.
• Gather customer insights and share with product teams for ongoing enhancement.
