Job summary

One New Zealand is seeking a Process Improvement Lead to transform how work gets done across the organisation. You will identify and design future-state processes, leveraging human expertise, automation and AI-enabled tools to unlock value and reduce waste.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and coach teams to adopt standardised processes while delivering measurable benefits for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in process modelling, process frameworks, methods and tools.
• Strong critical and strategic thinking with structured problem-solving skills.
• Strong change and stakeholder management capability, plus planning and delivery skills.
• Curiosity and practical confidence with AI, automation and digital tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritise, implement and realise benefits from process improvement initiatives, including as part of a squad.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation and digital tools to simplify work and improve quality and outcomes.
• Create and continuously improve standardised process assets.
• Analyse cross-functional processes and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and build alignment across teams and functions.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture through training and coaching.
• Work autonomously to deliver assigned improvement initiatives and outcomes.
