Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking a Process Engineering Lead to establish and mature process engineering capability across the organisation. You will design, improve and optimise end-to-end processes, leveraging process redesign, data and intelligent automation to boost customer outcomes, efficiency, quality and compliance.

As a senior practitioner, you will build frameworks, standards, governance and performance measures while coaching others and influencing across business and technology.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years' experience in process engineering, process improvement or operational redesign within large, complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of systems thinking, end-to-end process design, process optimisation and performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience enabling or working alongside intelligent automation, such as workflow automation, robotic process automation, decision automation or AI-enabled solutions.
• Proven ability to establish and scale process engineering capability, standards, frameworks and governance models.
• Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business and customer value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technology, including the ability to lead without formal authority.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• An organised, proactive and collaborative approach, supported by a strong learning and customer-centred mindset.
• Proven application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the design of policies, systems and processes.
• Sound understanding and demonstrated leadership in the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
