Job summary

AA Insurance is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (AI) to join our AI Centre of Excellence in New Zealand. You’ll bridge business and technology, unpack complex opportunities, engage stakeholders and turn ambiguity into clear, practical solution outcomes.

You’ll work with business and technical teams to shape and deliver AI and automation solutions while developing your capability in this rapidly evolving space. A strong BA background and genuine curiosity about AI are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical BA, Business Analyst or Solution Analyst.
• Strong discovery, elicitation and process-analysis skills.
• Ability to bridge business needs with technical delivery.
• Exposure to AI or automation and practical use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, requirements elicitation and process analysis.
• Translate complex problems into clear requirements and practical solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with business and tech stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI, automation and technology solution delivery.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve processes or experiences.
• Support prompt and instruction development where relevant.
• Consider privacy, security and governance considerations.
• Develop test scenarios and validate solutions.
• Adapt BA approach for rapid automation to enterprise-scale work.
