Job summary

BH Worldwide in Mangere, Auckland is seeking a Trainee Operations Coordinator to support aerospace logistics and day-to-day distribution centre operations. This full-time role offers hands-on learning with experienced professionals in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will assist with shipment coordination, inventory records, order processing, and compliance with aerospace standards while developing essential skills in documentation, data entry, and customer liaison.

Qualifications

• Secondary school qualification or equivalent with literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good written and spoken communication; able to follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the coordination of incoming and outgoing aerospace shipments and documentation
• Supporting inventory management activities, including stock checks and record keeping
• Helping to prepare and process orders for dispatch in accordance with aerospace industry standards and regulations
• Liaising with warehouse staff, customers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations
• Assisting with the maintenance of accurate records and operational databases
• Supporting compliance with aerospace safety and handling protocols
• Performing general administrative tasks related to operations coordination
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes under supervision
• Learning about customs documentation and export procedures relevant to aerospace logistics
