Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking an Operations Manager – Supply Chain to lead our Auckland North Warehouse and satellite stores. You will guide a team of about 45 people, with 5 to 7 direct reports, and manage an annual budget around $5 million to support safe, reliable parts delivery and optimised warehousing operations.

You will partner with Engineering & Maintenance, Airports, In-flight Operations and Crew to solve challenges, champion safety, and use SAP and KPIs to drive measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in warehousing, distribution or complex operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiency.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and data KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead North Warehouse and satellite stores, ensuring safe, reliable delivery of parts and tools.
• Inspire a team of ~45 with 5–7 direct reports and develop leadership capability.
• Drive improvements in warehousing, distribution, freight, inventory and tool control.
