Job summary

Promisia Healthcare Limited in Cromwell invites applications for an Activities Assistant to support residents across Rest Home, Hospital and Dementia Units. The role is 20–30 hours per week with some weekend work on rotation, focusing on meaningful, dignified activities tailored to individual needs.

You will plan and deliver physical, social and mentally stimulating programs, maintain records, and build community links to enhance daily living for residents and families.

• Ensure a weekly/monthly activities programme calendar is available for residents, families and staff.
• Maintain and build links with community groups and organisations to benefit residents.
• Participate in resident meetings and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and meetings as directed.
• Coordinate volunteers assisting with the activities programme.

We’re looking for an Activities Assistants to join our team in Cromwell, where we support residents in our Rest Home, Hospital and Dementia Units. The purpose of this role is to provide residents with opportunities that will enhance their daily living in a meaningful and dignified manner.

This role would be for 20-30 hours per week and will also include some weekend work on rotation.

What you’ll do:
