Job summary

Corys Electrical is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join the Finance team in Auckland. You will own a range of AP tasks, includinginvoice processing, reconciliations, and supplier inquiries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships while contributing to month-end activities and ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ reconciliation experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced Accounts Payable role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
• Proactive approach and ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication skills to relations with suppliers and colleagues.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) & Continia essential.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete month-end general ledger reconciliations.
• Respond to and resolve supplier and branch queries.
• Work closely with suppliers and branches to investigate and resolve issues.
• Manage suppliers in credit balances.
• Follow up on GRNI, especially items over 90 days.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide internal reporting and analysis as required.
• Support the wider Finance and Management teams with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
• Work in line with Corys Electrical policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
