Job summary

Evergo Logistics Limited is seeking a Part-Time Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial administration in Auckland. This role is well suited to an accounting graduate or student with an interest in the logistics and transport industry.

You will maintain records, process invoices, assist with GST returns, and help track fleet and operational costs, with training provided. The position offers flexible hours and collaboration with management to ensure accurate financial

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting qualification or currently studying accounting.
• Understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST, journal entries and basic financial reporting.
• Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments and journal entries.
• Assist with GST returns and routine tax-related records.
• Assist with tracking transport, fleet and operational costs.
• Support inventory and cost recording where required.
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial records.
• Maintain accounting documents and supporting records.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and general accounting tasks.
• Work with management to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
