Job summary

DB Osborne Limited in Hamilton is seeking an Accountant to join our Hamilton-based team, handling a variety of compliance and advisory tasks across small business and individuals. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) with opportunities to grow in a small, well-established firm.

You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, ensure GST and income tax compliance, and provide general accounting support with a client-focused mindset. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public practice accounting experience (NZ experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of NZ Tax and GST
• Experience in Xero and other cloud accounting tools
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and client-focused mindset
• Supportive, family-friendly work environment
