Job summary

UP Education Auckland is seeking an organized Accommodation Coordinator to coordinate accommodation arrangements and support a safe, positive experience for international students, with a particular focus on students under 18. You will coordinate placements, changes and holiday arrangements, maintain accurate documentation, and work closely with students, parents, agents, providers and internal teams.

The role requires sound judgement, attention to detail and a responsive approach to welfare

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience in student accommodation coordination or related role.
• Strong organisational, multi-tasking and records management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to build relationships with students, families and providers.
• Sound judgement handling sensitive information and welfare concerns.
• Accurate documentation, invoicing and payment recordkeeping.
• Willingness to participate in rotating after-hours emergency roster.
• Experience supporting international students, especially under 18, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate homestay placements and caregiver arrangements with required documentation.
• Manage accommodation and welfare processes for students under 18.
• Oversee Under 18 Holiday Plan and related confirmations with families and providers.
• Coordinate changes, transfers and requests, keeping all parties informed.
• Respond to enquiries and provide clear information to students, parents, agents and staff.
• Collaborate with providers and college teams to resolve issues and escalate welfare concerns.
• Maintain confidential records across systems and process invoices and payments.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 emergency phone roster and follow escalation procedures.
