Security specialist vacancy referencing General Merchandise operations at Target. Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.75 USD per hour.

General Merchandise experts focus on operations, process efficiency, in-stock presentation, and accurate pricing. This team leads inbound/outbound replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional signing across General Merchandise areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service. They enable efficient delivery to guests through pick, pack, and ship fulfillment.

Role foundations include guest service, retail fundamentals, workload management, and supporting business priorities to achieve sales goals.

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
• Engage with guests to understand needs and offer appropriate solutions.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Ensure GM areas are stocked, accurately signed, and organized on the sales floor.
• Prioritize workload based on sales trends and guest needs, and execute signage and planograms for GM categories.
• Assist non-GM areas with transitions and In-Store Marketing (ISM).
• Conduct weekly price changes for all GM categories and perform RFID scans to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage backroom fills, backstock, and backroom organization; process inbound deliveries with inventory accuracy in mind.
• Operate power equipment only if certified; follow safety policies and practices at all times.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive Up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.
