Head Energy Consulting AS seeks a Telecom - Senior Engineer to lead detailed design and follow-up of telecom tasks for onshore and offshore projects. You will participate in studies, prepare job packages, and ensure design discipline compliance with drawings and packages.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years offshore experience, ATEX/EX/FSE qualifications, and strong Norwegian or English skills. Permanent or project roles are available with mentoring and career guidance.

Aufgaben

• Detailed design of telecom tasks for onshore/offshore scopes.
• Participate in engineering studies and prepare job packages.
• Follow up on deliveries and perform discipline checks on designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and take part in pre-test/FAT activities.
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore and mentor new engineers.
• Perform as-built activities after installation.

Job Description

• Detailed design of telecom tasks
• Participate in studies
• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries
• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages)
• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility
• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore
• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers
• Perform as-built

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber‑optik technologies used in the oil industry
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written
• EX - Basic EX course
• FSE - High and low voltage, included first aid
