The Salvation Army is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for the Lifehouse - Southward Young Peoples Service to provide person-centred support to clients experiencing homelessness or vulnerability. The Salvation Army is looking for a compassionate and committed Support Worker to join our Homelessness Services team at our Lifehouse - Southward Young Peoples Service. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness or vulnerability. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support clients to identify their goals, access the right services and develop the skills and resilience needed to move towards more sustainable lifestyles. As a Support Worker, you will develop and deliver individual support plans that promote client choice, independence and control. You will complete assessments, review progress, coordinate support activities and work closely with colleagues and external partners to help clients achieve positive outcomes. You will work in a trauma-sensitive and psychologically informed way, ensuring support is strengths-based, respectful and responsive to each person’s circumstances.
