Jefferson Wells, on behalf of Enhanced Drilling, is seeking a Supply Chain Category Lead to own a procurement category and drive performance across the business. Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain category strategies aligned with operations and governance.
• Establish and manage commercial frameworks and supplier agreements.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Manage full procurement cycle: RFQs, bids, POs, and follow-up.
• Travel to supplier sites and company locations as needed.

On behalf of Enhanced Drilling, Jefferson Wells is seeking a Supply Chain Category Lead to take ownership of a key procurement category and drive commercial, supplier, and supply chain performance across the business. Enhanced Drilling works closely with operators and contractors to provide advanced drilling technologies and services.

About the role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of an assigned procurement category, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, and corporate governance standards.

This is a highly accountable role combining both category ownership and day-to-day purchasing activities. You will own supplier relationships, commercial frameworks, sourcing strategies, and procurement performance while collaborating closely with Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

Category strategy & ownership

• Develop and maintain category strategies, including supplier segmentation, sourcing approaches, and risk management plans.
• Ensure procurement strategies support operational, project, and regional business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, value creation, and supply chain improvement.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Establish and manage commercial frameworks and supplier agreements.
• Own and enforce commercial frameworks
• Own contracts and Terms & Conditions

Supplier Management & Compliance

• Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and qualification processes.
• Ensure compliance with standards, and internal governance requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, quality, and commercial compliance.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

Procurement Execution

Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing activities, RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up.

Business travel to supplier locations and other company sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

You have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. In addition you have significant experience within procurement, supply chain, or category management in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.

Experience managing suppliers, commercial agreements, and procurement strategies.

Strong understanding of contracts, commercial risk management, and supply chain governance.

Experience working within matrix and multi-regional organizations.
