Job summary

Tronox is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead global MRO category management reporting to the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing. You will drive strategies, optimize OEM spend across sites, and partner with maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering to deliver value.

The role focuses on data-driven category strategies, supplier development, and risk management, requiring extensive experience in procurement, strong commercial acumen, and ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree mandatory.
10+ years procurement experience in category management or related areas.
Experience in Equipment, Maintenance or technical industrial domains.
Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global MRO category strategies aligned with Tronox objectives.
Leverage OEM MRO spend across global sites to improve visibility and aggregate demand.
Develop supplier strategies for OEMs, distributors, and service providers.
Analyze spend, demand, supplier, inventory, market data to guide category decisions.
Lead sourcing projects from scope through execution, managing budgets and timelines.
Partner with stakeholders to balance cost, asset availability, and risk.
Challenge specs to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions and value.
Execute Source-to-Contract with negotiations and contract implementation.
Establish governance, savings tracking and supplier performance metrics.
