Enhanced Drilling, now part of Expro, is seeking a Category Lead to take end-to-end ownership of a procurement category. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure contractual compliance while delivering value across operations.

This hands-on role combines strategic leadership with day-to-day buyer activities, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance and Quality to ensure reliable deliveries and strong supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain management, engineering, business or related discipline.
• Significant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in oil and gas.
• Experience in category management, commercial governance and supplier relationship management.
• Understanding of contracts, commercial risk, sourcing strategies, API Q2 and ISO standards.
• Experience working in matrix organisations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain category strategies, including supplier segmentation and risk assessments.
• Take end-to-end accountability for spend, suppliers, and performance within the category.
• Establish commercial frameworks and ensure terms, NDAs and changes are managed.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and revalidation per API Q2/ISO requirements.
• Perform day-to-day procurement execution and follow up deliveries to support operations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance and Quality to manage supplier risks.
