Job summary

Ankar is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition professional to drive talent pipeline building, passive outreach, and end-to-end hiring execution for Software Engineering roles. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, candidate relationships, and creating exceptional interview experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll partner with engineering and product teams, build talent communities for hard-to-fill roles, and own several active searches from sourcing to close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building hiring systems in high-growth environments recruiting for Software Engineering roles.
• Track record of hiring in ambiguous, zero-to-one contexts (early-stage startups, new market expansions, or building new functions within larger companies)

Responsibilities

• Own the complete candidate journey for multiple active searches: multi-channel sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate prep, offer positioning, and close.
• Design assessment frameworks that reliably predict cultural match with a focus on first principles and deep expertise.
• Create candidate experiences that reflect our contrarian, first-principles culture and leave interviews with a strong positive impression.
• Embed with teams to understand nuanced requirements beyond what's written in JDs.
