Job summary

The Law Society is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the AP/AR functions, ensuring accurate, timely processing of financial transactions across income and expenditure, with strong governance and controls.

You will oversee credit control, supplier management, reconciliations, reporting, and system improvements, driving a high-performing finance service within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AP/AR operations in a medium/large organisation.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and system changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
• Oversee end-to-end AP: PO support, invoice processing, payments and supplier verification.
• Oversee AR: credit control, invoicing, debt management and cash allocation.
• Ensure month-end/year-end close, reporting and audit readiness.
