Job summary

Cedar, a high-growth PE-backed organisation, seeks a Head of Transactional Services in Central London. Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from anywhere. Lead AP, AR and Billing teams, strengthen controls, and transform processes in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sizeable transactional finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of credit control, billing and working capital.
• Track record of process optimisation, automation or transformation.
• Understanding of financial controls and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Qualification in CICM/ACA/ACCA/CIMA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end transactional finance operation.
• Lead and develop teams across AP, AR and Billing.
• Drive improvements in credit control, collections and working capital.
• Oversee accurate, timely billing processes and AP controls.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and governance for the function.
• Lead process improvement, automation and finance transformation.
• Support ERP, workflow and reporting enhancements.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance and business.
