Job summary

In Head Energy in Norway is seeking a Senior Subcontract Specialist to drive the tendering process with subcontractors, develop ITT documents, negotiate terms, and ensure robust contracts for projects.

You will manage subcontracts at the project level, monitor compliance, handle change management, and support project teams on contractual matters, while liaising with other functions to improve position and secure frame agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead tendering with subcontractors: clarify needs, draft ITT, negotiate contracts
• Manage subcontracts at project level and ensure compliance with terms
• Monitor commercial/contractual issues per contracts
• Handle change management of contracts
• Support Project Managers on contractual/commercial topics
• Coordinate with other functions for tender reviews and decisions
• Track milestones, deliverables, invoicing; support closeout and renewals
• Develop long-term frame agreements when required

Job Description

• Responsible for the tendering process towards our subcontractors: working with tender team to clarify need, construction and issuing of ITT documents, clarification rounds, negotiate with suppliers and set the final contracts
• In charge of managing subcontracts on a project level; Ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions and implement changes/amendments as may be required
• Commercial Management of the subcontractors; monitor and follow up commercial and contractual issues as required by the contracts
• Change Management of contract
• Assist Project Managers and other project personnel regarding contractual and commercial issues
• Liaise with other functions to improve the position of Company. Contribute in contractual and commercial reviews, discussions, negotiations and decisions in tenders
• Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)Ensure contract close out, extension or renewal, and experience transfer to future contracts
• Take part in securing and develop long term Frame Agreements when required
