Job summary

Head Energy is looking for a skilled Subsea Engineer to plan and lead onshore and offshore IMR tasks, manage subsea asset maintenance, and monitor cost and schedule. The role requires a BSc/MSc in relevant engineering fields, plus strong analytical abilities and bilingual English/Norwegian proficiency.

Offshore operations experience and ROV system familiarity are preferred. Head Energy offers permanent or project roles with mentoring, career guidance, and competitive pension/insurance schemes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis and improvement proposals for IMR scope.
• Conduct data collection and status reviews (video, lessons learned).
• Coordinate with IMR supplier and act as company representative offshore.

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, subsea, controls/cybernetics, marine tech, or similar
• Working proficiency in both English and Norwegian
• Preferred experience from offshore operations and ROV systems (operations or maintenance)
• Strong analytical skills and commitment to HSSEQ performance
• Certificate of apprenticeship within a relevant subject is appreciated

Job Description

• Participate in planning, preparing and execution of onshore and offshore IMR tasks
• Contribute to analysis and improvement proposals and implementation of these
• Utilize competence within maritime subjects
• Method development and review of IMR scope
• Close corporation with IMR supplier
• Act as company representative during offshore execution
• Lead and plan maintenance scope for subsea assets as requested
• Cost and schedule follow up and reporting
• Structuring and complementing collected data such as video, subsea status management, lessons learned etc.
