Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Winches and Launch/Recovery within the Handling Systems team in Norway. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, driving the growth strategy, and delivering profitable, end-to-end sales across regions.

You will develop market insights, align strategies with segment leads, and empower a global sales team while collaborating with partners and suppliers in the maritime industry. Ålesund-based location preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maritime sales, including developing and executing segment sales strategies.
• Knowledge of offshore operations and ROV/AUV markets.
• Maritime experience with market dynamics and vessel operations.
• Strong commercial understanding, including pricing and profitability drivers.
• Proven collaboration across sales matrix and product units.
• Customer-focused with ability to build long-term relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and anticipate trends.
• Ability to foster innovation and a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Stay ahead of market and segment trends using analytics to identify growth opportunities and build business cases.
• Work with partners and third-party suppliers to maximize sales and profitability.
• Define and execute sales strategies, plans and pipeline development for growth in Winches and Launch/Recovery.
• Develop compelling value propositions for integrated Handling solutions across regions.
• Empower the global sales team with a culture of efficiency and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Deliver order intake for product, system and solution sales in line with KPIs.
• Drive profitable sales growth by expanding existing and new customer relationships and aftersales opportunities.
• Ensure efficient and high-quality bid reviews and competitive proposals.
