Job summary

Wärtsilä Norway AS is seeking a Sales Manager Newbuild to lead end-to-end sales for marine vessel projects, collaborating with vessel owners, designers and yards to deliver optimal Wärtsilä marine solutions.

The role supports a hybrid work setup with preferred locations in Oslo, Ålesund, Bergen, Rubbestadneset or Stord, enabling flexible customer engagement and project execution across Norwegian shipyards.

Qualifications

• Experience from marine newbuild sales.
• Knowledge of marine power and propulsion systems.
• Experience with ship building process with Norwegian designers and yards.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations within emissions and safety.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Identify and/or develop sales projects, support decarbonization with a consultative and collaborative approach.
• Execute and manages complex end-to-end sales processes for assigned customers or markets, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.
• Utilising in-depth knowledge of marine solutions to brings value to both the customer and Wärtsilä.
