Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a strategic enterprise-wide ERP transformation based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 in Norway. You will govern the program, coordinate cross-functional streams, and partner with IT, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure organizational readiness and measurable business value.

• Experience managing implementation partners and vendors.

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a strategic enterprise-wide ERP transformation program based on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the overall program, associated business transformation initiatives, and cross-functional delivery streams. The role will provide governance, structure, coordination, and leadership across business and technology areas, ensuring that priorities, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables remain aligned throughout the entire program lifecycle.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, process owners, information owners, IT teams, implementation partners, and executive leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor and ensure successful program execution, organizational readiness, and measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, direction, and coordination of the Dynamics 365 ERP program and related workstreams.
• Establish governance structures, reporting frameworks, milestones, and decision forums.
• Own and maintain the integrated program plan, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams covering business processes, Dynamics 365 applications, integrations, data, security, testing, and change management.
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical specialists to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Lead implementation, migration, release, cutover, and readiness activities.
• Oversee requirements management, solution governance, testing, defect management, and business acceptance.
• Manage implementation partners and external consultants.
• Facilitate steering committees, executive reporting, stakeholder communication, and decision‑making processes.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
• Monitor progress, milestones, financials, KPIs, and benefits realization.
• Mentor project teams and continuously improve program delivery practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading large‑scale and complex IT programs.
• Proven track record managing ERP implementations, enterprise system rollouts, or business transformation programs.
• Strong experience with program governance, planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams across business, IT, architecture, security, integrations, testing, and operations.
• Experience managing implementation partners, vendors, consultants, and multiple workstreams.
• Solid understanding of business process transformation and enterprise change initiatives.
• Experience with integrations, data migration, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Certifications in Program or Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, PgMP).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Experience working in cloud‑based Microsoft environments.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs, benefits realization, and business value.
• Experience from large international or highly complex organizations.
