Job summary

Techconsult AS in Norway seeks a Senior Process Engineer to support assets and drive safe, efficient operations aligned with standards. The role focuses on verification of operating procedures, production optimization, and collaboration with project teams, with onshore base and offshore travel possible.

You will contribute to process discipline with MOC, Hazop/LOPA, and digital tool development, bringing a Master of Science and 5+ years oil and gas experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in relevant discipline.
• Preferably 5+ years of oil and gas experience.
• Experience with process simulation tools including Hysys/UniSim.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Verification of operating procedures.
• Production optimization and debottlenecking of the facility.
• Support operations and project teams with process competence; contribute to EQ and MOC.
• Participate in Hazop/LOPA/SORA, barrier mapping, and root cause analysis (5-Why).
• Contribute to digital solutions and tools development to improve processes.
