Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer for an onshore role in Stavanger. You will verify operating procedures, optimize production, and support both operations and project teams with process expertise. Travel offshore may be required.

The position requires a Master of Science in a relevant discipline, 5+ years in oil and gas, experience with process simulation tools (Hysys/UniSim), and fluency in English and Norwegian. You will contribute to EQ, MOC, and digital tooling development.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years in oil and gas operations (preferred).
• Experience with process simulation tools.
• Good knowledge of Norwegian and International Standards.
• Willing to travel offshore.

Responsibilities

• Verify operating procedures.
• Optimize production and debottleneck the facility.
• Support operations and project teams with process competence.
• Contribute to EQ and MOC management.
• Participate in Hazop/LOPA/SORA and root cause analysis.
• Input to development of digital solutions to improve ways of working.
